Winter Retreat is a chance for the youth to step out of their comfort zone away from home and everything they know in order to truly find God.
What is Winter Retreat?
UTC hosts a weekend winter retreat every year that provides spiritual nourishment and encourages self-growth. Throughout the weekend we experience God through talks, testimonies, skits, praise & worship, adoration, and fellowship. We also celebrate vigil mass on Saturday evening!
This event allows participants to open their hearts and minds to experience and fully understand God’s love and presence. All the while they get to spend the weekend connecting in small discussion groups and having a great time with their peers.
We give the youth a chance to go beyond their comfort zone and experience their faith somewhere other than home. This gives them an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation through the natural environment.
