Youth Mass

The main source of inspiration for our ministry as Catholics is embodied in mass. Youth actively participate and serve at our 4pm Youth Mass every second and fourth Sunday of the month.

They participate by becoming ushers, singing in choir, delivering the readings as lectors and provide the Eucharist during mass as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

If interested in serving at our Youth Mass, please contact Evan or Natasha for more details.

Bible Camp

In collaboration with Religious Education, UTC helps facilitate our annual Bible Camp held in the summer. Youth volunteer as Camp Counselors, Junior Counselors and help organize our games and crafts.

They embody the heart and soul of our Vacation Bible Camp. They are in charge of a group of campers during the whole program and serve as mentors who keep their group organized and safe. Counselors are excited to build relationships with the participants and ready to serve everyday.

The goal of the Confirmation Program is to provide an opportunity for youth to grow in their relationship with Christ and the Catholic Church. The Confirmation process is a two-year process for all High School students. Classes are run by our very own youth as they act as Catechists and Peer Leaders.

Catechists plan and conduct the classes for each lesson of Confirmation. They find ways to teach the students and offer them solutions and answers to their questions regarding the Catholic church and their faith.
Peer Leaders assist catechists in teaching the students the lessons and serve as leaders to create relationships with the students.

If interested in serving please contact the Religious Ed Office.

Aside from volunteering through Youth Mass or Religious Education, UTC volunteers at church events such as our Oktoberfest, Concert Under The Stars and our annual Health Fair.

We also volunteer outside of our church at local organizations such as Grateful Hearts. Annually, Cornerstone creates care packages and distributes them on Skid Row and other impoverish areas.

Other opportunities are announced at general meetings and are coordinated by our service and outreach team.
